The system uses a Driver Detection tag to identify an authorised driver. Once the ignition is switched off, the immobiliser automatically activates. Without the authorised tag present, the vehicle remains immobilised — even if the vehicle key is present.

🔐 No Tag, No Start Protection
The iMOB system automatically immobilises the vehicle after the ignition is switched off.
When you return with your authorised Bluetooth Driver Detection tag, the system recognises it and allows the vehicle to start normally. If the tag isn’t present or switched on, the vehicle remains immobilised even if someone has the vehicle key.
This provides an additional layer of protection against methods such as relay theft and key cloning.

The system is monitored by the Global Telemetrics Secure Control Centre 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
